IN-POST PRODUCTION

Studio Vista’s latest project will be a 12 episode docuseries, addressing the question, “Does life exist beyond our planet?” The series hopes to promote a better understanding of what lifeforms may exist among the stars while discovering how our perception of extraterrestrial life has affected religion, culture, and history. Combining eyewitness and expert interviews, archival footage and dramatic re-enactments, “Working Title Documentary” will explore scientific and religious perspectives on extraterrestrial life, UFO sightings and extraterrestrial interactions from pre-history to the present day.

Director Arron Kinser will guide the project crew as they travel from coast to coast and back again in an RV equipped with state-of-the-art post-production equipment, speaking with scientific experts, religious leaders and followers, UFO eyewitnesses and documenting various space, science, and physics research facilities. Among other subjects, the project will touch on the NASA’s Deep Space Gateway and Mars Exploration Rovers and the newly discovered planet Proxima Centauri b.

Kinser says, “Even before I went to the Aviation Challenge Camp in Huntsville, Alabama at age 13 and recorded my first flight hours, I have been fascinated by space travel and the possibility of intelligent life beyond our planet. After over fifteen years as an entrepreneur in the entertainment industry, during a camera test in the Mojave Desert under a wide open sky, the question dawned on me: ‘What do religions make of this? Do they all think that we are alone in this vast expanse of space, or are some open to the possibility of extraterrestrial life? What’s more, do any religions feature extraterrestrial beings within their philosophies or texts? And, importantly, how do religious viewpoints compare with the scientific perspectives on extraterrestrial life?’ After discovering that no other documentary has focused on this question, I made it my mission to uncover as much as I can on the subject. My goal is to bring this information to those who ponder similar questions.”

Short Summary

Due to a life-long fascination with outer space, Arron has always wondered if we were alone in the universe, and after traveling the globe he discovered that this curiosity is inherent in all human beings. Then, while traveling through the Mojave Desert, the question dawned on him: How do the world's religions, both ancient and new, answer that curiosity? What's more, do they tend to believe these visitors Extraterrestrials, Demons, or Angels?

Mesopotamian, Inuit, Asian, Indian, and European religions vary in their interpretations of global phenomena, so what might they all have to say about extraterrestrial life forms? Our goal is to answer that question by talking to as many leaders and followers of these religions as possible; to find out what similarities and differences arise in the perception of drawings, writings, and even first-hand accounts of Alien visitation.

This documentary will consist of our crew traveling the continental US and visiting both religious and UFO-sighting hotbeds, complete with interviews, archival footage, dramatic re-enactments, and coverage of some of the most exclusive filming locations known to experts in the field.

Your contribution will help us share the knowledge we receive, with the goals of ushering in a better understanding of what life may exist beyond our planet, discovering how our perception of that life has affected religion, culture, and history, and perhaps even demonstrating that while religious beliefs as a whole may differ, their interpretation of this undeniable phenomena may serve as common ground.

The Impact

For as long as written history has existed, humans have asked, "How did we get here? What is the meaning of life? Are we alone in the Universe?"

Religion has always been the balm to these burning questions, so we want to find out where each individual religion stands in their belief of Extraterrestrial life, UFO phenomena, technological reverse-engineering. Do sects of Judaism believe that Aliens helped with the pyramids? Might Buddhists believe that humanity is a result of directed panspermia? Who believes these otherworldly visitors to be Demons, Angels, or Aliens?

Answering this question is just the tip of the iceberg, and if we are successful in this campaign we hope to delve even deeper into the history of Extraterrestrial encounters as they pertain to religion, and do so all around the planet.

Risks & Challenges

We are hopeful that experts and laypeople alike will be willing to share their experiences and beliefs, but we also know that these beliefs can sometimes be controversial or hard to share. Aside from this, we are seeking access to locations, documents, and individuals that could prove difficult or, in some cases, impossible to capture on film.

We have had tremendous luck so far and are working with the very best organizations to bring the absolute, unadulterated truth to our viewers, but we are not ignorant of the fact that this subject matter, on a grand scale, could place both our subjects and ourselves under a lens of intense scrutiny, at the very least.

Other Ways You Can Help

If you are not in a position to contribute financially there are a number of invaluable services you can provide to us! Sharing the project with your friends and family, talking to anyone you know who has an interest in this subject, and sending us information or experiences of your own would all be incredibly helpful.
